Meet Your osteopath, Laura O'Connor B.Ost

My journey to supporting your wellness began in 2019 in the beautiful Peak District, where I first worked as a manual therapist while completing my clinical training. In 2021, I graduated as a fully qualified osteopath from The College of Osteopaths. Since 2022, I have lovingly grown my practice right here in Ashbourne, while also having the wonderful privilege of working alongside the gifted team at the Nottingham Osteopaths Cranial Clinic.

Giving back to my profession is incredibly important to me. In 2022, I joined the faculty at The College of Osteopaths, where I have had the absolute joy of teaching, mentoring, and supporting the next generation of budding osteopaths.

At the very heart of my practice is a belief that your health belongs to you. I have dedicated my career to creating a warm, deeply relaxing space where your body can find its natural path to healing through incredibly gentle techniques.

Over the years, my heart has drawn me closer to women’s health—especially supporting women as they navigate their mature years, menopause, and pelvic wellness. This passion is exactly what inspired me to bring the innovative Ultra Tesla Seat to our Ashbourne clinic, offering a non-invasive, gentle way to restore pelvic confidence. I am also deeply passionate about scar therapy, helping women heal the emotional and physical impact that scars can leave on our confidence, our self-image, and the way our bodies move.

I am here to listen, to care, and to support you in feeling vibrant and comfortable in your own skin again.
